Known locally as ‘Leyland House’, Stackpole Holiday Cottage is a cosy & well maintained holiday cottage situated beside a wooded glade at the edge of the small & peaceful village of Stackpole.
Perfectly located for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, visiting the miles of sandy beach at Barafundle Bay, Broadhaven South & Freshwater West or enjoying leisurely dining at the award winning Stackpole Inn (approx 3 minute walk). This cottage is the perfect hideaway!
The Cottage
This lovely holiday cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, a well equipped kitchen & utility room and a dining room with access to a sheltered, decked courtyard for al fresco dining. There is a large detached garden which is reached via a private footpath.

Leyland House holiday cottage has views over the National Trust’s Stackpole Estate with 2000 acres of outstanding natural beauty. It is a spectacular landscape which extends to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Rich in wildlife (otters, wildfowl, cliff nesting seabirds), it also has footpaths linking lakes, woods, cliffs, sand dunes and limestone grassland.
Leyland House is ideally located approximately 25 minute walk from Barafundle Bay (frequently voted the National Trust’s favourite beach) & 20 minute walk from Bosherston Lily Ponds. Surrounding paths provide easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Local facilities can be found in the nearby town of Pembroke (approx. 4 miles). Surfing Paradise at Freshwater West is an 8 mile drive & the picturesque seaside town of Tenby is a 15 mile drive.
About Us
Leyland House is run by Phil & Phillippa & has been a successful holiday cottage for over 10 years. Phil is originally from Pembroke Dock & we have been visiting Stackpole together for the last 20 years.
