Ground Floor – Downstairs there is a comfortable sitting room with a log burning stove, a contemporary dining room with French windows out to a decked courtyard & a well equipped kitchen with separate utility room. There is also a modern bathroom with both bath & shower facilities.

First Floor – The first floor has 1 double bedroom with a king sized bed and a twin bedroom with 2 single beds.

Grounds – as well as the decked courtyard, the grounds include a large, enclosed garden which is reached by a private footpath (approx. 50 yards).

Walking directly from the cottage door takes in the National Trust’s Stackpole Estate, Stackpole Quay, Barafundle Bay, Bosherston Lily Ponds & the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

Parking – off-road parking is available for 2 cars.

There is a no smoking policy throughout the cottage. Dogs are welcome throughout the downstairs & outside areas.

Location & Amenities

Leyland House is in the small, peaceful village of Stackpole. The cottage is located approx. 3 minutes walk from The Stackpole Inn – a lovely, country pub with both indoor seating & a beer garden. The inn serves high quality food & drink throughout the year (the bar area & beer garden are dog-friendly & both include seated areas for meals).

The small town of Pembroke is approx. 15 minutes drive (4 miles) & has a range of local amenities including cash point, post office, small supermarket, fresh produce store, pubs, restaurants, petrol station, chemist, vet & a fortnightly farmer’s market.

The cottage is ideally located for walking the National Trust’s Stackpole Estate & provides easy access to some of Pembrokeshire’s most beautiful beaches (Barafundle Bay, Broadhaven South & Freshwater West).

Stackpole Quay & Stackpole Walled Garden both have delightful cafes serving food throughout the summer season.

Family attractions include Folly Farm, Heatherton World of Adventures & Manor House Wildlife Park.
